Dr. Mohammed Gumaa is an Orthopedic Physical Therapy Consultant. He got his MSc and Ph.D. degrees from Cairo University. He is a Co-founder and an Executive Manager of TRUST Research Center. Dr. Gumaa is a strong believer in how important is healthcare research is not only to pursue a successful clinical career but also for our day-to-day life. Research is a great resource to learn and acquire essential problem-solving, logical, analytical, and critical thinking skills that can help us coping and solving with whatever life throws at us. His passion for statistics was sharpened by being mentored and trained as a biostatistician by Prof Dr. Ahmed Hassouna. Dr. Gumaa’s primary research interest is rehabilitation technologies and the use of assistive technologies in healthcare. Of particular interest is the use of virtual reality in healthcare. This interest stemmed from their growing importance and his personal passion for video games.
