Dr. Aliaa Rehan Youssef is a Professor of Orthopedic Physical Therapy at Cairo University. She is also an adjunct professor of Biomechatronics at Ain shams University. Dr. Rehan Youssef got her BSc and MSc from Cairo University and her Ph.D. from the University of Calgary, Canada. She has extensive academic teaching experience in Physiotherapy, Kinesiology, Engineering, Science, and Pharmacy. She is interested in knowledge translation and got formal training from the Knowledge Translation Network of Canada. She is particularly interested in moving research findings to healthcare settings to improve the quality of life of our patients. Her research interest focuses on rehabilitation technology and evidence-based practice. She has co-authored many publications in prestigious journals and two book chapters. Besides, she has presented her work in many top-ranked conferences. Dr. Rehan Youssef has been a guest speaker in many scientific seminars, conferences, and workshops. She is also a member of a few scientific associations such as the Orthopedic Research Society, the European Federation of Orthopedic and Traumatology, and the American Physical Therapy Association.
